On many a given day, you can find the Las Vegas Cigar Guys hanging out at En Fuego Cigars & Lounge on Sahara Ave., just a few blocks off the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Owner Michael Abdoulah never steers us wrong which is why when he told us the story of his first time with a small batch Aging Room F59 Quattro, he peaked our interest. So imagine how lucky we were that he liked it so much, he gave four of the Las Vegas Cigar Guys a stick to try so we could pound out this review.

The Aging Room Quattro F59 is a small-batch handmade from blenders Raphael Nodal and Jochi Blanco of Tabacalera La Palma. It’s full Dominican Habano wrapper was nearly flawless and the cigar was magnificent to admire before even lighting it up.

First Third: Lighting the F59 Stretto Corona was nice and easy as the stick burned well from the start. The spicy and earthy taste gave us a hint it would be a medium-full bodied experience. The touches of wood and leather made us take notice from the start and

Aging Room F59 Quattro is a special cigar.

allowing the aroma to fill our noses was truly enjoyable. With a straight-cut, the draw was nice and consistent – not too fast and not too difficult. A happy medium here with a nice burn from the start.

Second Third: After spice, wood, leather and pepper to start, this little dynamo turned to a creamier cutie as we continued to smoke it. We also almost got a cavity thanks to the caramel flavors and aroma as we continued. The creaminess was pronounced and had the “hey, pay attention buster!” quality to it. It was sort of like biting into a nice piece of candy and quickly wanting more.

Final Third: The creaminess of the second third, along with caramel hints, and even a touch of saltiness at the end, made the time we spent smoking the Stretto really enjoyable and had us all agreeing it lived up to its billing. We’ve all enjoyed the Aging Room lines for quite a while. All four of us agreed this was a nice addition to the brand.

Wow. En Fuego Michael was right about this cigar. We’re eager to try a larger sized F59 Quattro and all four of us definitely considered this at-home humidor worthy.

We say it’s very hard for us to give any cigar a full 5-star rating, but the Aging Room F59 deserved it. There’s no doubt.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars.
